Job Title: Head of Personal Injury
Nigel has worked in personal injury for over 30 years. Nigel trained at a large Yorkshire based practice in Leeds before moving south to Join a National Law firm (Shoosmiths) where he was an Executive board member for the Legal expenses division of the firm .
Nigel then became Operations Director for boutique personal injury firm Pinto Potts until their take over by Quindell in 2013. He was also personally involved in the High profile Court of appeal cases involving European community Law principles in cases against the MIB ( Byrne v MIB and sec of State) and ( Delaney v Tradewise and sec of state) both making substantive case law.
Nigel also brought many successful Hospital acquired infection cases during the height of the MRSA and C-difficile infection epidemic and Stafford Hosptial outrages some of which settled in six figure sums and many of which involved fatal claims with dependencies.
Nigel is proud to have lead and motivated a highly dedicated and skilled team of individuals in often unpopular areas of personal injury law for many firms and is particularly pleased to have lead by example taking cases to trial on Noise induced hearing loss, Hand arm Vibration, European law and Limitation.
